Vulnerability Falls

I have still to learn
to enjoy my vulnerability,
my sadness…
To stop cataloguing it as bad,
sad,
or negative.

When I let vulnerability be
a dense calm makes my soul feel whole.
I breathe
and I let the tears fall
on the miniature geography of my face.

My waterfalls can be seen many seasons a year.

And then I think of the intermittent waterfalls in Majalca, showing their beauty only in times of rain.

When they carry water I don’t think they feel sad.

I imagine them happy to be the channel through where water flows.
